At Karl Taylor Wood we aim to create furniture that is practical, built to last for generations and elegantly designed. We craft handmade pieces out of slabs that we mill and dry in house.
We take care through the entire process of the furniture, from tree to table. We mill our logs to maximize their character, not based on grade. We embrace any idiosyncrasy of a slab, whether it is a knot, whole, split or curl, to create a stunningly beautiful piece of furniture that looks as natural as it did when it was in the forest.
We design live edge coffee tables, dining room tables, conference tables, chairs, couches, charcuterie boards, spoons and bowls.
